Your career will flourish as you are provided opportunities for development and mentorship by some of the top industry leaders.\n\nIf you have a passion to excel in an organization that requires the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, you should join the Laird Plastics team.\n\n*Needed:*\n\n· Number of Openings: 2\n\n· *Schedule: Night Shift, 6:00 PM–2:00 AM*\n\n· Position Type: Temporary\n\n· Duration: September 2026 through January 1, 2027\n\n· Potential for Permanent Employment: This temporary position may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time, permanent role based on business needs and performance\n\n*What you’ll do:*\n\n* Plans machining by studying work orders, production paperwork, materials, specifications, dimensions,\n* and tolerances\n* Evaluates programs for machine equipment by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting\n* tool registers, offsets; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving partprograms.\n* Process each order per order/customer specifications\n* Verifies accuracy of parts by adhering to inspection process set by management\n* Maintains specifications by observing and taking measurements using tape measures and micrometers; detecting\n* malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worntools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes\n* Completes preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting\n* malfunctions; notifying warehouse lead and/or calling for repairs\n* Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting/communicating actions, irregularities, and needs\n* Maintains quality parts and processes by visually and dimensionally inspecting parts, production paperwork,\n* inspection reports upon receipt at each department\n* Ensures a safe working environment and keeps work area clean and organized. Follows housekeeping guidelines\n* set by management.
