You'll take on well-scoped features and pieces of larger initiatives, write clean and testable Kotlin, and lean into the mentorship the team offers. The ideal candidate cares about craft, moves fast without cutting corners, and is curious about how the app actually behaves in an athlete's hand.What You Bring2+ years of professional Android development experience shipping consumer- facing appsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and trainingProficiency in Kotlin, including Coroutines and Flow; working knowledge of the modern Android stack (Jetpack Compose, Hilt/Dagger, Room, WorkManager, Navigation)Understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI) and how features are structured in a multi-module codebaseFamiliarity with the Android systems activity apps rely on - location, sensors, foreground services, lifecycle, audio focus, push - and willingness to go deep in the areas you ownComfort consuming REST/GraphQL APIs and handling offline, low-bandwidth, and error states gracefullyExperience writing unit and UI tests (JUnit, Compose UI tests, Espresso)Familiarity with Gradle, CI/CD, and the Google Play release processStrong debugging habits and an interest in growing them - profiling, memory analysis, ANR/crash triageCollaborative mindset; clear communicator in code review, design discussion, and written docsExperience with Spec Driven Development leveraging LLM coding agents and autonomous build and review loopsWhat You'll Work OnYou'll build features in NRC or NTC on Android alongside more senior engineers who will help you take on progressively more complex work.
