Admissions Officer
Position Overview
Green Fields School is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Admissions Officer to support student recruitment, admissions processes, and overall enrollment growth. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and welcoming admissions experience for prospective students and families while contributing to the school’s continued development.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions & Enrollment Support: Manage day-to-day admissions activities, including inquiry handling, application processing, and enrollment coordination
Prospective Family Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families, providing guidance throughout the admissions process
Outreach & Recruitment: Support recruitment efforts through events, school tours, open houses, and community engagement initiatives
Student Experience Coordination: Assist in onboarding new students and help coordinate student services, activities, and enrichment opportunities
Operational & Administrative Support: Maintain accurate admissions records, track enrollment data, and support overall school operations as needed
Team Collaboration: Work closely with school leadership, faculty, and staff to ensure a smooth admissions process and alignment with school priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; background in education, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in admissions, enrollment management, or a related field required; additional experience is strongly valued
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and effectively engage prospective students and families
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, particularly in managing application materials and admissions data
Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in a fast-paced admissions cycle
Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Service-oriented mindset with a professional, welcoming approach to supporting prospective families throughout the admissions process
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and overall qualifications
