By connecting with The Pivot Group Network, you position yourself for roles that match your background and aspirations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of preventive measures for EHS-related incidents.Manage hazardous waste programs, including proper storage, disposal, and documentation.Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, including new hire orientation and ongoing specialized training.Oversee the management of workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into manufacturing processes and new projects.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field.5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management responsibilities.Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and systems.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are highly desirable.Bonus QualificationsCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation.Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives in EHS.Proficiency in EHS software platforms and data analytics.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.Job Titles That Should ApplyEnvironmental Health & Safety Manager, EHS Manager, Safety Manager, Environmental Manager, Health and Safety Manager, EHS Lead, Safety Director, Occupational Health and Safety Manager, Environmental Compliance Manager, Risk Manager EHSWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
