The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud security, with the ability to collaborate closely with development teams to support reliable and efficient application deployments.\nThe candidate must reside within the continental US.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB/ALB, and EKS.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment workflows using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.\nImplement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, logging, and compliance controls.\nMonitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, security, and cost, and troubleshoot issues proactively.\nDevelop and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other DevOps tools.\nDeploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.\nSupport high availability, disaster recovery, and resilient cloud architectures.\nCollaborate with development and operations teams to translate application requirements into secure and efficient AWS solutions.\nTake on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n8+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS compute, storage, networking, databases, and security services.\nProduction experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.\nProficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and system administration.\nStrong understanding of AWS security, networking, and the shared responsibility model.\nExperience with subnetting, routing, load balancing, firewall rules, and VPN connectivity.\nExperience with CI/CD principles, automation, and deployment tools.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across AWS and CI/CD environments.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills within Agile development environments.\nAdditional Qualifications:\n\nAbility to obtain government clearance.\nExperience with the VA or other Government agencies.\nExperience managing containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.\nFamiliarity with modern CI/CD tools and practices, including GitHub Actions.\nOne or more of the following certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional.\nBenefits:\nMedical/Dental/Vision\nPTO + Federal Holidays\nCorporate Laptop\nTraining opportunities\n401(k) with employer match\nRemote work options\nNote: Selected candidates will be required to complete fingerprinting at a government facility and undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.\nMind Computing is an equal opportunity employer.
