We are looking for someone that will support our mission within budget.\r\nThis position will analyze and forecast program financial performance by tracking costs and variances, identifying risks and improvement areas, and delivering clear reporting and recommendations to keep projects and budgets on track. This position will be based in Adelphi, MD, with occasional remote work.\r\nResponsibilities Review and analyze financial data to compare planned versus actual performance, identify variances, and assess financial health.\r\nDevelop and maintain financial models and forecasts to evaluate future performance and analyze the impact of alternative scenarios.\r\nTrack and manage program expenses across contracting, labor, hardware/software, operations, overhead, travel, and purchase cards to ensure budget compliance.\r\nIdentify cost and schedule risk areas and provide narrative, graphical, and oral status reporting to support leadership decision-making.\r\nPrepare detailed budget, cost management, and performance reports/presentations with actionable recommendations and areas for improvement.\r\nPartner with Project Managers to ensure project costs align to approved budgets and proactively resolve discrepancies and emerging concerns.\r\nQualifications Bachelor\\'s Degree required (related field preferred), with 4 yrs experience or 8 yrs of additional relevant experience\r\nDoD Secret security clearance Required\r\nStrong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize various tasks and assignments in a dense environment to meet defined and/or undefined deliverables.\r\nProficiency in delivering concise briefs and reports to large groups and senior leaders, with strong communication skills to effectively convey complex cybersecurity concepts.\r\nPossess expertise in cloud technology, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms, services, and best practices relevant to cybersecurity.\r\nProficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, to efficiently manage and prioritize high volumes of email communication, ensuring timely responses and effective correspondence management.\r\nFamiliarity with Army and DoD policies influencing the cybersecurity community, ensuring compliance and alignment with relevant regulations and directives.\r\nUtilize project management principles and methodologies (PMI) to effectively plan, execute, and complete tasks, ensuring efficient project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction\r\nPreferred experience in using Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, and Salesforce.\r\nMust be able to speak, read, and write fluent English\r\nMust be a US Citizen.\r\nBenefits Read about our benefits here: Our Benefits - UTRS | Thinking Forward\r\nEEO and Legal UTRS is an Equal Opportunity employer.
