This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a PM Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.\nTransdev is proud to offer:\nCompetitive compensation package of minimum $23.50 – Maximum $25.00 / hr\nBenefits include:\nVacation: minimum of two (2) weeks\nSick days: 5 days\nHolidays: 12 days\nOther standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.\nCompany paid ASE testing and training materials\nKey Responsibilities:\nComplete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.\nPerform repairs and replacements on diesel engines, ensuring optimal functionality.\nRemove, clean, repair, reinstall, and adjust vehicle components.\nEnsure work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.\nSelect appropriate course of action for repairs.\nEvaluate completed work prior to release.\nEnsure safe use of power and hand-held tools.\nPerform road calls and emergency services, as necessary.\nMove vehicles safely between job and work area.\nCommunicate professionally with customers, team members and supervisors.\nActively participate in safety or educational training as required.\nContinuous ASE re-certification is required to remain in job classification.\nOther duties as required.\nQualifications:\nCandidates must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.\nMust have a valid driver’s license. A CDL license is strongly preferred, or will be required within 90 days, Company paid training provided\n2 ASE Certifications within 1 year of employment.\nASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided\nMinimum of two (2) years direct automotive repair experience\nMust have an appropriate mechanic’s tool set.\nMust have demonstrated experience operating automotive repair shop equipment.\nMust be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe essential functions of this position require the ability to:\nIntermittent sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, walking, lifting of light and heavy objects, climbing ladders/stairs/ramps or scaffolding, and using tools and equipment that require a high degree of manual dexterity.\nRequired to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, talk, hear, to reach with hands or arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and smell. Must be able to lay on back on a mechanic’s dolly to work underneath motor vehicle equipment.\nMust regularly lift and/or move up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds.\nSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nWith stand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
