Always is safety conscious.Duties and Responsibilities:Carry out production, inspection, and machine operation duties on multiple pieces of equipmentAssist in setup of machinery and ensure all equipment and tooling are properly stored. Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance of oils and coolants on machinesEffectively monitor production equipment for proper operation (includes sight, sound, touch and smell)Maintain a safe and clean workspaceFollow all assigned reporting and record keeping proceduresFollow established safety rules and regulationsRead and interpret blueprints and diagramsResponsible for inspecting 100% of parts to specifications at assigned intervals and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.Responsible for set up and operation of presses, saws, welding machines, welding fixtures and jigs, paint booth, and chamfer machine.Unload tubing deliveries from trailer and put them in the rack.Perform regular operator maintenance to department equipment and forklifts.Experience and Educational Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma/GED, do basic math & counting, obtain a forklift license, be proficient at welding and setting up equipment, read and follow work instructions, work orders and first piece inspection process.Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work standing for 10 hours and overtime as needed. Must be able to squat/bend/kneel, push and pull up to 50 pounds, climb/ reach/overhead, operate equipment (i.e., forklift, order picker, scissor lift.).
