Vascular Tech Location: Hilo, HI Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $2,262 to $2,462 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/17/2026 About the Position Join our team as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist in Hilo, HI. In this role you will perform diagnostic vascular and general ultrasound examinations, prepare patients, document findings, and assist with procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Minimum Requirements: ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification in vascular sonography or equivalent national registry certification. Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting. Experience must include vascular duplex exams (carotid, upper and lower extremity arterial and venous duplex) and general/abdominal, OB/GYN, neonatal, and superficial structure ultrasound examinations. Demonstrated competence or proficiency in: Abdomen (aorta, IVC, liver/biliary, pancreas, spleen, renal), OB (1st–3rd trimester, biophysical profiles, amniocentesis support, gestational age assessment, placental evaluation), GYN (pelvic, transvaginal), neonatal head and congenital anomaly evaluation, superficial structures (breast, scrotum, thyroid), and vascular studies (carotid duplex, segmental pressures, upper/lower arterial and venous duplex). Experience performing interventional procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainages, and intraoperative ultrasound. Familiarity with Canon i700 ultrasound systems, Fuji Synapse PACS, and Meditech EMR preferred. BLS certification required. Current state licensure or any Hawaii-required credentials for diagnostic medical sonographers as applicable. Ability to work in a hospital environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Preferred: ARDMS RDMS and RVT credentials in addition to vascular certification. Assignment Details: Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Flex Shifts. Shift details: Variable.
