Sanitation Technician
Benefits:Competitive salaryFree food & snacksKey Responsibilities:Oversee Sanitation Operations: Manage and coordinate all sanitation activities to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols.Team Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise the sanitation team, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance to ensure efficiency and adherence to sanitation schedules.Sanitation Procedures: Develop and implement sanitation procedures, including cleaning protocols for production equipment, facilities, and grounds.Compliance Monitoring: Conduct routine inspections and audits to verify that sanitation practices meet regulatory guidelines (FDA, USDA, etc.) and maintain accurate sanitation records.Problem Solving: Identify and resolve sanitation-related issues promptly, communicating effectively with management and other departmentRequired Qualifications:Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sanitation or a related field, preferably in food manufacturing or processing environments.Knowledge: Familiarity with sanitation regulations, chemical handling, and safety standards is essential.Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are necessary to effectively manage a team and ensure compliance with sanitation protocols.Additional Information:Flexibility: The role may require working varied shifts and schedules to meet business demands.Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and sanitation duties, including lifting and moving equipment.
