You will identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Success in this role is measured through audit accuracy, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and contributions to quality and cost-saving initiatives.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform daily inspections, measurements, and data collection according to inspection sheets.\nConduct product, process, and layered audits using established checklists.\nCollect and analyze measurement data to verify product conformity.\nValidate and maintain gauges and measuring equipment.\nIdentify, document, and report quality concerns, defects, and non-conformances.\nReact to out-of-specification or out-of-control conditions by notifying Supervisors, Quality Engineers, and Quality Management.\nPlace non-conforming products on hold and transfer materials to quarantine areas when necessary.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.\nDocument and communicate supplier-related quality issues.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.\nMonitor incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality requirements.\nVerify outgoing products meet customer specifications and expectations.\nParticipate in PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and PSO activities.\nSupport Internal Quality Performance and Customer Quality Performance KPIs.\nMaintain compliance with IATF 16949, Customer Specific Requirements (CSR), and ISO 14001 standards.\nPromote and maintain 5S standards throughout the facility.\nFollow all company policies, procedures, safety regulations, and Rules of Conduct.\nContribute to a safe work environment and wear required PPE.\nSupport environmental, industrial safety, and energy management initiatives.\nPerform other duties and projects related to the position as assigned.\nQualifications\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (Grade 12 / OSSD).\nPost-secondary education in a related field is an asset.\nExperience\n1–3 years of experience in a Quality-related role.\nTier 1 automotive manufacturing experience preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).\n\nExperience using precision measuring equipment, including:\nMicrometers\nCalipers\nBasic computer skills; Microsoft Excel experience is an asset.\nCMM operation experience is an asset.\nDatamyte experience is an asset.\nKnowledge of IATF 16949, Customer Specific Requirements (CSR), and ISO 14001 standards.\nCompetencies\nStrong organizational skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.\nLanguage Skills\nEnglish required.\nSpanish is an asset.\n\nAt OPmobility, people truly matter.
