This individual will be responsible for the following duties\n\nAttend kick-off meeting with design and/or operations staff at beginning of project to ensure Level of Development, scope, project details, and contract requirements are understood before modeling begins.\nCreate 3D models utilizing Revit.\nActively participate in BIM coordination and design meetings.\nDevelop and model scopes as requested, including, but not limited to, Interior and Exterior Walls, including framing, Ceiling and Soffit Framing, Acoustical Ceilings, Specialty Panels, Raised Access Floor, Clean Room Walls, Clean Room Ceilings, Unistrut, No Fly Zones, and other specialty scopes to the required Level of Development using Revit and other Revit add-on programs.\nCoordinate with point cloud files.\nEnsure models produced are spatially coordinated.\nEscalate any issues to the BIM Coordinator and Design or Operations Team.\nIdentify model and document inconsistencies and bring them to the attention of the BIM Coordinator and the Design/Operations Team to determine appropriate action.\nEnsure all model elements are fully coordinated within PCI’s scope.\nPerform BIM compliance checks of deliverables.\nQC model against project documents for discrepancies.\nUtilize Navisworks Manage to run clash detection and identify potential issues.\nUse Navisworks to resolve PCI clashes.\nAttend staff training to enhance staff members’ knowledge and expertise of the standardized software.\nCreate and maintain project-specific content to ensure consistency with instructions, guidelines, in-house standards, and the project’s BIM standards.\nActively engage with the Design and Operations Team to implement best practices in BIM/VDC.\nCoordinate with BIM/VDC service providers and clients.\nProvide design support tasks, including but not limited to: processing installation drawings, incorporating comments, and producing details and layout files.\nClean, prepare, and organize CAD/Navisworks files for field use.\nSpecial projects as assigned.\n\n Salary range: $78,900 - 106,000 annual salary plus a non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.\n\nBasic Requirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in related discipline (Construction Management, Construction Science, Architecture, Engineering Fields, etc.) preferred.\n2-year technical degree or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.\n4+ years of BIM (Revit)/VDC modeling and coordination experience.\nMust possess proficiency with software platforms including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360 Design/Glue.\nMust present a portfolio demonstrating work in Revit and Revit Family Editor.\nExperience with Bluebeam PDF Software.\nAbility to understand design and document coordination.\nInnovative and creatively minded individual looking to improve process, procedure, and construction techniques to provide continued improvement and efficiency to role, work scopes, and our customers.\nAbility to take responsibility for the outcome and results of assigned projects.\nProficient skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.\nProficient written and verbal communication skills.\nMotivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative.\nAbility to work in a team environment and have durations of independent/isolated/unsupervised environments.\nProject management skills.\nAbility to communicate the benefits of BIM/VDC for internal and external purposes.\nPassion about BIM/VDC and how it can be used to improve the productivity of those who work in design and construction.\nAbility to multitask under pressure and handle last-minute requests.\nMust be flexible and willing to visit project sites and other important areas as required.\n\nPreferred Requirements\n\nExperience with cleanroom, non-structural metal framing, drywall, façade systems, and ceiling systems preferred.\nWorking knowledge of Dynamo, Revit API, and SketchUp\n\nBenefits\n\nAt Performance Contracting, our employees are our greatest asset.
