Please see responsibilities below.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Pipefitter)\nExperience running piping through active industrial production facilities is required.\nAbility to interpret plan view and elevation view drawings to understand the project.\nUnderstand P&ID (Process and Instrument Diagrams) and can coordinate installation of valves and instruments as shown on the drawings.\nAbility to generate isometric drawings for fabrication in a shop environment for installation in the field. This includes proper take-offs and cut lengths, generated from field measurements, plan view drawings and P&IDs.\nAbility to field route piping where appropriate and required by the client.\nWorking with welded, threaded, Victaulic piping, carbon, and stainless steel.\nREQUIREMENTS\nFlexibility to travel between projects on a daily and/or weekly basis.\nFlexibility to work in both clean (food-grade) and dirty (recycling facilities) environments.\nWilling to work at least 40 hours per week (Mon – Thu on a 4-10’s schedule), with the flexibility to work overtime as required. Some night shift may be required, which is dependent on client needs.\nAvailability to work Night and Day, 12 Hour Shifts when client requests.\nFlexibility to work outside of your trade.\nFlexibility to travel between DC, Baltimore and Aberdeen, MD.\nEXPERIENCE\n2-5 Years previous construction experience, preferably as a Mechanical Contractor or Prime Contractor in an industrial environment.\nUnderstanding of plans, specifications, P&IDs, and ISOs.\nSelf-Starter – Ability to work alone on a project, and as part of a team.\nEffective verbal communication skills.\nReliable transportation with active driver’s license\nUS Citizen and/or Green Card Verified\nCORE COMPETENCIES\nDriven, Accountable, Team Oriented, Consistent.\nProven Communicator\nABOUT US\nMid-Atlantic Industrial Construction, LLC (MAIC) is a heavy industrial mechanical contractor that focuses on the installation, service, and maintenance of power and process systems in the manufacturing and power generation market.
