This is a flexible part-time position. Free 3 Bedroom Apartment in exchange for duties; living on-site is required.What would my responsibilities include?Administrative duties, including recertification paperwork.Showing and leasing available apartmentsCoordinate the move-in/move-out processManage overall cleanliness of the property, including regular cleaning of the common areasApartment turnover cleaningSeasonal grounds keeping, including shoveling under 1 inchLight maintenance of the building; for example, changing lightbulbs and assisting our Maintenance Technicians during emergenciesWork with vendors and the internal maintenance team for timely completion of unit turns, maintenance work orders and preventive maintenanceFacilitate all day-to-day operations of the properties as requiredProvide outstanding customer service and maintain professional rapport with all residents, applicants, vendors and staff.Take a hands-on approach to any necessary duties to accomplish objectivesCommunicate with residents in a caring, compassionate manner that upholds Hornig Companies’ customer service reputation as well as Fair Housing guidelinesWhat should I bring to the team?At least 1 year office and/or administrative experience or similarCustomer Service experience is required, prior leasing experience is a plusStrong work ethic and desire to assist our residents in finding their home with us and maintaining a great place to liveDetail orientation and attention to accuracyExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong customer service skillsStrong computer skills including MS Office. Yardi software experience preferredAffordable housing experience is a plus
