Production Worker

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a Production Operator to support the safe and efficient manufacturing of powder coatings. Working under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, this role involves operating and maintaining production equipment across areas such as Grinding, Weigh-up, and Extrusion. The position ensures adherence to safety, quality, and production standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean and compliant work environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate production equipment safely in accordance with established procedures and industry standards Perform daily production tasks, preventative maintenance, and process data collection Monitor production processes and ensure output meets quality and production targets Report safety, quality, or process issues to the Shift Supervisor or Team Leader Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas Participate in safety programs and adhere to all HSE policies and procedures Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs Attend and participate in team meetings and safety discussions Perform weighing, staging, and transport of raw materials as per batch requirements Operate extrusion, grinding, and sieving equipment and adjust settings as needed Conduct sampling, quality checks, and coordinate with QC for testing Record production data and maintain accurate documentation Transport materials and products using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, hand trucks) Perform additional duties as required to support production operations REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to lift up to 55 lbs Ability to read and understand work instructions and procedures Ability to safely operate or be trained to operate a forklift Ability to measure and weigh materials accurately Ability to maneuver large vessels and totes using appropriate tools Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Commitment to safety and compliance with PPE requirements Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift Ability to climb stairs while wearing required safety equipment Education: High School or equivalent
