{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"5f09e2e67d8db6b3df2e4547","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5f09e2e67d8db6b3df2e4547","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5f09e2e67d8db6b3df2e4547","title":"Device Processing Engineer","description":"SUMMARY OF ROLE:\nThe successful candidate will work primarily in EPIR’s cleanroom to develop and implement infrared semiconductor device processing.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe successful candidate will specifically:\nDevelop and implement photolithography, wet and dry etching, material deposition\nDevelop processing procedures for semiconductor devices\nManage device processing including dicing, packaging, shipping, and tracking\nMaterial supplies and maintain liaisons with EPIR’s purchasing department\nMonitor cleanroom supplies, vendors, and purchase orders\nAssist in writing R&D-level proposals for semiconductor materials and device technology advancements\nREQUIRED SKILLS:\nKnowledge of semiconductor device fabrication processes including lithography, etching and deposition methods\nWorking knowledge of mask aligner, vacuum deposition chamber, and dicing saw tools including safe use\nGeneral laboratory and cleanroom practices\nStrong oral and written communication skills, strong organization skills with an attention to detail, and excellent documentation capability\nCandidate should be enthusiastic and highly self-motivated\nComputer skills including MS Office, LabView, and AutoCAD a plus\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant science or engineering discipline\nExperience in developing and fabricating semiconductor devices\nAt least 1 year of cleanroom experience\nCitizen or permanent resident of the United States\nLOCATION/HOURS:\nEPIR is located in Bolingbrook, Illinois\nThis is an on-site position.
