This person will contribute to the company's success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products.\r\nEssential Functions:\r\nPerforms a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products\r\nAble to follow verbal and written instruction maintaining a focus on quality\r\nFollows an engineering assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts\r\nUses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches\r\nMaintains consistent quality and productivity levels\r\nUses Microsoft Office programs\r\nMaintains neat and clean work area\r\nIdentifies problems and contributes to process improvements\r\nPerforms some hand soldering on electronic assemblies\r\nWillingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production state of the art environment\r\nWorks as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks\r\nTraversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift\r\nAble to transport up to 30 lbs\r\nAbility to obtain a secret clearance which requires US Citizenship\r\nAble to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material\r\nQualifications:\r\nRequires a High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.\r\nAbility to obtain a US Security Clearance\r\nPreferred Additional Skills:\r\nElectrical background at the component level.\r\nCapable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the L3Harris E3 continuous improvement process.\r\nJ-STD-001, IPC-610.\r\nMechanical or electrical assembly experience to include Soldering.\r\nL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
