Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.Role OverviewThe Global Category Manager – Additives, Solvents, and Resins is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that support business objectives, supply continuity, and cost competitiveness across assigned categories. This role leads strategic sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, and contract management while leveraging market intelligence and spend analysis to identify value creation opportunities. The position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement strategies with operational and financial goals. It also drives supplier performance, continuous improvement, and digital transformation initiatives within the procurement function.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement category sourcing strategies for additives, solvents, and resins in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholdersLead strategic sourcing activities, including supplier evaluations, RFP/RFI processes, contract negotiations, and contract executionAnalyze spend, market trends, commodity data, and supplier performance to identify risks, support decision-making, and drive cost savings initiativesManage supplier relationships and performance while promoting continuous improvement, process optimization, and value creation opportunitiesPartner with internal stakeholders to support procurement initiatives, ensure business alignment, and advance digital transformation effortsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of sourcing experience in procurement, supply chain, or category managementDemonstrated negotiation skills, including pricing, contract, and supplier management strategiesExperience working with ERP systems and procurement-related business processesStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functionsVibrantz is committed to protecting your privacy.
