You will solve complex problems, lead design activities, and manage medium to large teams of professionals and technicians.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nServe as a technical expert with recognized authority in structural engineering as it relates to projects; resolve problems of greater scope and complexity.\n\nPossess strong analytical skills including dynamic analysis, non-linear analysis, and deep foundation design.\n\nUse software such as ETABS, SAFE, Perform 3D, RAM Structural System, and Ensoft.\n\nPlan and develop projects or design activities.\n\nPlan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians.\n\nServe as Project Manager on larger projects, though project management is not sole focus of position.\n\nPerform other duties as needed.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nMaster's degree in Architectural Engineering, Structural emphasis.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.\n\nMinimum of 10 years structural engineering experience as it relates to building design.\n\nProfessional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng)).\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar analytical software.\n\nExperience in design calculations and layouts.\n\nAbility to design and detail steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.\n\nUnderstanding of gravity analysis and lateral analysis.\n\nPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.\n\nAttitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.\n\nCompensation & Location\nPay range: $133,000 - $190,000 (based on skills, experience, education and geographic location).
