Under the direction of Installation Foreman and Superintendent, the Carpenter Apprentice will support the installation of all millwork projects in accordance with industry standards.\r\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nWork with blueprints to prepare the layout of the project.\r\nUtilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to erect and repair structures.\r\nJoin materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.\r\nWork on ladders, lifts and scaffolding.\r\nUse levels, measuring tape, plumb bobs, framing squares, and lasers to ensure items are level and secure.\r\nInstall cabinets, wall paneling, fixtures, and other products\r\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\r\nApprentice-level experience required with union membership.\r\nAbility to safely use hand power tools and woodworking machinery.\r\nAbility to lift 50 pounds or more.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\r\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
