With 22,000 clients, including 93% of the Fortune 100, and 32,000 employees across 28 countries, RRD brings the expertise, execution, and scale designed to transform customer touchpoints into meaningful moments of impact.Job Description Assemblers/Kitters are responsible for the final packaging of products for RRD customers including but not limited to medical and food-grade components.Read and follow work order instructionsFollow assembly processes and procedures preciselyAchieve expected rate while assembling customer product accuratelyFold boxes and package customer product efficientlyPerform all functions of pack out accuratelyCount accurately, watch scales for variances, and scan properlyPlace labels precisely on productWatch for faulty, damaged, or nicked materials or packages to ensure the Quality Policy and Objectives are being metNotify lead when assembly/component inventory supplies are lowCommunicate with co-workers in a positive, business-like mannerComply with all facility safety and work rules; including, but not limited to security requirements, completion of a job costing card (white card), and following proper procedures for accident/incident reporting, emergency evacuation, etc. Demonstrate a professional manner. General housekeeping dutiesParticipate in required trainings and auditsOther tasks as assigned. QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrior warehouse or kitting experience preferredMust have the ability to read and interpret job specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders. Basic communication skills (written and/or verbal). Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment and general warehouse procedures. Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher-level employee. Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials. Skill in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely. Basic arithmetic to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Additional InformationDisclosure Statement:The pay range for this role at the noted location is $16.40 to $17.68 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
