This role is responsible for preparing aspiring phlebotomists with the knowledge, technical skills, and professionalism required to succeed in the healthcare field.\n\nCampus Location: Buffalo, NY\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\nConduct comprehensive instruction in phlebotomy, including lecture and clinical drawing sessions\n\nDeliver curriculum content clearly and effectively to ensure student understanding and competency\n\nFoster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment\n\nSupervise students during clinical practice to ensure compliance with safety standards\n\nEncourage and support students throughout the program to promote successful completion\n\nMaintain classroom cleanliness and organization\n\nManage onsite inventory and supplies\n\nComplete required classroom documentation in accordance with company policies\n\nMaintain productive attendance and timeliness for all scheduled classes\n\nAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards\n\nState Qualifications\n\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalency completion; AND\n\n5 years of practical experience in phlebotomy, or five years of acceptable teaching experience in phlebotomy, or five years of acceptable administrative or supervisory experience, or a combination of such acceptable experience amounting to at least five years. Letters from employer must be included showing 5 years.\n\nMust attend a board director course (15-hour) offered by the department in school administration. Training occurs twice a year; June and December. 3 hours a day for 5 mornings Mon-Fri 9-12 pm.
