Responsibilities: To work under the supervision of the Controller in the establishment, development, and uniform operation of Life Renewal Behavioral Health contracting and billing requirements within the framework of Adult and Teen Challenge Pacific Northwest. Provide the oversight and maintenance of Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health treatment programming in accordance with State Laws, Life Renewal Policies, and the ministry goals of Adult & Teen Challenge Pacific Northwest. The Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle management and manage all contracts. We're looking for an entrepreneurial and experienced behavioral health billing manager that is eager and equipped. Qualifications: A minimum of five years of manager-level experience behavioral health billing, A/R and collection environment. Knowledge of the industry reimbursement methodologies. Experience with third-party claim resolution processes, including denial and appeals management. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Oversee our billing team to ensure proper invoicing and payment to partners, payers, and clients for our multiple locations. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles to develop reports for revenue reporting. Monitor and delegate day to day operations of the billings and compliance department: Appeals process to payors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Managing staff and site credential expirations. Delivery of charts via secure method to partners as prescribed via ROI or Court Orders. Identify trends or issues and initiate corrective action to improve revenue cycle management. Provide feedback and advice on product/technology/service improvements. Ability to learn and navigate new software and website portals quickly and independently. Experience with Excel, Adobe and Word is required. Requirements: Associates or Bachelors in finance or business discipline with 2-3 years of experience inbehavioral health billing. In lieu of degree 5 or more years’ extensive experience in behavioral health billing. Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care guidelines, in Washington andOregon, Montana, Idaho and Alaska. Experience in Provider Enrollment/Credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care,Commercial, VA and Federal Tribes Insurances. Must exhibit excellent computer skills; ability to manage multiple systems as needed(Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and eHR platform). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to pass background screening and drug screening.
