Vehicle Technician

Our client is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and contribute towards the operations of our lab. This includes scheduled service, diagnostics, repair coordination, lab space fit/function, and general upkeep.Job Title: Vehicle TechnicianLocation: Austin, TX, 78741Pay Range: $37/hr.What’s the Job?Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road usage. Perform diagnostics and escalate to the appropriate engineering team if required Create diagnostic test plans as the team sees fit Maintain shop facilities, ensure tools are in order, and workspace is in excellent working condition Build an excellent service experience for internal teams and business partners What’s Needed?Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles Minimum of 2 - 4 years of technician experience Must have a valid driver's license with a clean/excellent driving record. Pass a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check, and drug screen. Must comply with the Substance Abuse Policy. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit/stand for extended periods (8+ hours) depending on the equipment type.
