Uniquely positioned in our ability to produce large central systems for an entire plant down to individual filters for a single cutting machine on the floor, our proprietary filtration and cooling technologies come second to none.\nKomline is looking for a Material Handler to join our growing team. The Material Handler works closely with production moving material and product between storage areas and production departments.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for this position include the following,\nRoute incoming items to storage or work area.\nAssign locations when required.\nStore articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.\nReceive manufactured parts into the stockroom by entering part numbers into computer system.\nDetermine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.\nPick components for manufacturing orders.\nMove parts from one work station to another in accordance with parts routing.\nFill orders or issues supplies from stock including pulling repair orders from pick lists and machine orders from shop orders. Deliver to designated areas.\nDistribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.\nMaintain shortages.\nPerform cycle count inventory of stock, resolve discrepancies and maintain reports.\nMaintain inventory and other stock records.\nCompile reports on adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes.\nMark part numbers on articles.\nOperate company car or truck to deliver and pick up parts and/or supplies to outside vendors.\nAssemble cardboard containers or select preassembled containers. Insert items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.\nOperate fork-lift truck, electric cart or use hand truck to move material and product between storage and work areas.\nFollow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.\nQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. T\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma or equivalent and 3 to 5 years work experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience entering data and retrieving information data from PC or main-frame computer system. Knowledge of inventory transaction processing.
