Element is a leading company in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector with opportunities to provide quality compliance assessments to our customers.\n\nThis role sits within our BM TRADA business providing certification services within the fire door, PAS24 security and timber construction sectors. We would be willing to consider individuals with transferable skills from the construction sector as a whole or from quality assurance professionals who are open to learning the construction products sector. Come and Join Element and Make Tomorrow Safer Than Today...\n\nResponsibilities:\nManage a number of BM TRADA customers within the South East region (Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, London, Surrey, Essex) both new and existing, particularly in the fire door and PAS24 security schemes.\nPlan, book and carry out factory audits of manufacturers within the timescales required under the rules of the certification schemes.\nAccurately record findings during client audit visits and submit reports in line with operational target objectives\nReview and approve responses to any non-conformance's raised during audit visits within agreed timescales\nAct as the first point of contact for any certification queries those customers may have\nSkills / Qualifications:\nGood IT skills using MS Office\nEffective written and verbal communications skills\nExcellent time management with the ability of meeting deadlines\nAble to operate independently or as part of a team\nPreferably a background in construction having worked within carpentry / joinery teams and with knowledge of the British and European standards involved in the production of doors, windows and fire doors\nFull certification scheme training, including the IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification, will be provided\nWillingness to travel throughout the UK with some occasional overseas visits\nOwn diary management ensuring audit target dates are met in the most effective way with a proportion of time spent working from your own home.\nCompetitive Salary and Car Allowance on offer\nThis role work from home role is covering the South East region\nBenefits of working at Element\n\n33 days annual holiday, consisting of 25 days annual holiday and 8 days public / x4 Life Assurance / Legal & General Pension scheme with total contributions up to 12% / Flexible Working / Cycle Scheme / Recommend a Friend Bonus / Perks At Work Discount Scheme\n\nFor more information on Element's BUILT division, please take a look at our e-brochure: https://indd.adobe.com/view/7032c5bd-3645-4c48-86d4-b568d53de400\n\n#LI-DG1\nTo apply please email derek.grist@element.com\nCompany Overview:\nElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
