divh2Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager/h2pManager (PIC) to oversee the operations of all departments within the company including pharmacy, administrative/clerical, and sales in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. The Manager (PIC) oversees and evaluates the financial status of the company, communicates with the owners/corporate office as needed on issues of finance, performance improvement, sales, or clinical implementation of therapies./ph3Qualifications/h3ulliRequired: B.S or PharmD in good standing with SC Board of Pharmacy/liliRequired: Good interactive skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers/liliRequired: Excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills/liliRequired: Business and financial understanding of operating a profitable business/liliPreferred: Three (3) years clinical experience/liliPreferred: Experience with management of pharmacy support personnel/liliPreferred: Minimum one (1) year experience with infusion therapy and sterile compounding/liliPreferred: Sterile compounding training/li/ulh3Responsibilities/h3ulliPerforms pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards as well as in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating sound business knowledge, leadership, and stewardship attributes./liliOversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy./liliActs as a liaison between the Board of Managements and staff./liliInterviews, orients, and evaluates employees within company departments/liliUpholds regulatory mandates on the provision of health care by professionals/liliActs as a resource for individual departments and employees in resolving questions, problems, and issues./liliActs to implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and protocols in providing service to consumers./liliIs involved in strategic planning for the company to increase revenue and continually improve the quality of care provided to consumers./liliMaintains knowledge of USP chapter 797 to assure the quality, sterility, and stability of compounded sterile preparations/liliIs responsible for the performance improvement process, sets expectations, develops plans, assesses, improves, and maintains the quality of the companys management, clinical, operational, and other important internal processes and activities; assigns staff to performance improvement activities./liliPerforms chart and lab results review for acceptance, product selection, device selection and supply management./liliCollects, evaluates, and interprets the physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost effectiveness, accuracy, safety, and completeness./liliMonitors patients progress and assessment and communicate clinical information and results to the physician and healthcare team./liliSupervises the entire pharmacy and pharmacy staff in the appropriate compounding, packaging, and labeling of compounded products./liliAssists in training and orientation of new employees, performance improvement activities and educational programs./liliParticipates in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs./li/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliMay require lifting over 40 lb./liliMay require use of latex products/li/ulh3Benefits/h3ulli401(k) with company match/liliHealth Insurance/liliVision Insurance/liliDental Insurance/liliPaid time off/li/ul/div
