We are looking for a Project Engineer to support and lead advanced reactor programs for the nuclear power industry, driving innovation in next generation energy technology. The salary range is a general guideline only; criteria such as qualifications, experience, scope of the position, market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.\nYour Challenge Perform software and hardware requirements capture.\nFacilitate effective project execution and cross‑functional communication.\nManage/maintain system interfaces with internal and external cross‑functional teams.\nProvide technical input to project schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments.\nEnsure that engineering work complies with codes, standards, and project requirements.\nWork closely with the Project Manager to translate project plans into engineering deliverables.\nWork closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are properly staffed.\nHelp identify project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.\nTrack engineering deliverables to maintain project schedule and budget and to manage project risks.\nCoordinate with customers and team members to ensure the system design meets customer and regulatory requirements.\nEnsure project personnel follow established guidelines and procedures to ensure technical standards are met.\nDemonstrate a strong customer focus by listening to, recognizing, and responding to customer input in an effective, timely and courteous manner.\nTake initiative as problems and opportunities arise by anticipating and meeting customer needs and company expectations.\nParticipate in process improvement.\nWhat You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical degree.\n5+ years of engineering experience involving design, analysis, testing, or system implementation.\nProficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.\nAbility to work a professional work schedule in an office environment.\nGood oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to lead work and make technical project decisions and give direction to others.\nAbility to travel both domestically and internationally (less than 10%).\nPreferred Experience with analog and digital electronic circuits.\nExperience with data acquisition systems, servers, workstations, networks, and/or AC and DC wiring.\nFamiliarity with performing formal testing/integration, automated testing, including software unit testing and integration of software with hardware as well as creating and executing system test procedures.\nExperience developing proposals and bidding projects.\nExperience working in the nuclear industry or another highly regulated environment.\nEqual Employment Opportunity Curtiss‑Wright is an equal opportunity employer.
