Physical and electronic security systems are comprised of major components from vendors including AMAG, Genetec, Motorola (Pelco), and Axis. Supporting IT systems and infrastructure include Dell EMC servers, workstations, thin clients, and network attached storage, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, group policy, client operating systems (Windows 10/11), and Microsoft Office suite, Cisco network infrastructure, and Vertiv (Avocent) IP KVM devices.\nJob Duties Include:\nPerform installation, upgrades, maintenance, and facilitate lifecycle replacement of IT systems\nCoordinate, integrate and assist in the management of technical efforts being performed to ensure that identified needs are transformed into effective and life-cycle optimized systems\nConfirm that the system’s definition and design reflect the requirements for all systems’ elements (hardware, software, data, facilities, etc.)\nWork in a multifaceted team with many stakeholders (engineering, logistics, manufacturing, contractor, program leadership) in problem solving efforts for designated aspects of complex problems with many competing objectives, variables, and constraints\nDocument solutions in relation to the technical, cost, and schedule constraints\nDevelopment and review of various technical documentation, including change management documentation, presentation materials, and white papers\nCommunicate with stakeholders across program offices, fleet and industry stakeholders\nMay develop and execute contingency plans for network related hardware failures including isolated and major outages\nQualifications\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
