This position will be a strong team lead and provide high-quality customer service to car wash customers and employees. The Assistant Manager is accountable for the overall performance of the team during the assigned shift. The Assistant Manager will possess a strong focus on customer service, car quality, and continuous improvement and will help ensure Sam’s Xpress® Car Wash makes our mark as the new benchmark for dynamic and friendly service.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nFoster a positive work environment that reassures open and honest dialogue, feedback, and innovation\nMotivate the car wash team to achieve their best performance through continuous coaching and development\nCommunicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of employees\nMaintain accurate records and documentation as required\nEnsure adherence and compliance with all established policies, procedures, and processes\nResponsible for ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times\nAccountable for managing the team through opening, closing, and ongoing maintenance of the facility during assigned shift; this includes cash control procedures as part of the point of sale\nPromote sales, manage expenses, and maximize profitability\nAccountable for the overall performance of the team during the assigned shift\nEstablish, demonstrate, and recognize exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction\nProvide associates with the tools necessary to ensure exceptional customer experiences and interactions\nServe as the first point of customer escalation for servicerelated issues, and work to reconcile customer complaints on the assigned shift. Document all complaints and communicate with the Manager\nProvide positive resolutions to challenges and/or concerns from customers\nMaintain a neat, clean, and organized overall site appearance at each location\nOther duties as assigned by the location Site Manager\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
