People like you.\nVisit our\ncareers\npage to see what exciting opportunities and company\nperks\nawait!\nJob Description:\nMicrochip Technology is seeking a qualified, motivated, and creative Photo Process Engineer to join the Process Engineering Department at Microchip's Fab-4 manufacturing facility in Gresham, OR.\n\nDuties (include but not limited to):\nImprove product yield by evaluating and implementing process improvements\nReduce wafer manufacturing cost by qualifying and implementing cost-saving process changes\nWrite and optimize equipment recipes for wafer processing\nPerform qualification tests on new equipment to increase manufacturing output\nAnalyze results from metrology equipment including scanning electron microscope (SEM)\nReview statistical process control (SPC) results for process variability and capability\nTroubleshoot and problem solve wafer poor yield or scrap issues Implement preventive procedures to avoid wafer poor yield or scrap.\nWork as a team with fellow employees to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing process\nWrite equipment process specifications and reports\nRequirements/Qualifications:\n5-6 years’ experience as a photolithography or equivalent semiconductor process engineer\nBS/MS degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials or equivalent\nProficiency in written and oral communication\n\nAdditional Requirements:\nMay need to attend work related meetings or perform tasks on unscheduled days\nCritical Physical Requirements: Able to lift 20 lbs; push, pull approx. 50 lbs; carry 20 lbs; sit 60%; stand 20%; walk 20%; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing.
