The firm offers a collaborative environment, manageable billable expectations, and exposure to sophisticated real estate transactions.Job Description:The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys in handling a variety of real estate transactions from start to finish. This role involves coordinating deal logistics, managing documentation, and assisting with due diligence efforts across multiple matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal setting.Key Responsibilities:Assist with drafting and reviewing purchase agreements and other real estate transaction documentsTrack key dates and maintain transaction checklists throughout the lifecycle of dealsAnalyze title reports, surveys, and zoning documents; help resolve related issuesSupport due diligence efforts by ordering, reviewing, and summarizing reports and searchesPrepare closing materials and coordinate with lenders, title companies, and other partiesDraft and file UCC financing statements and related documentationReview lease agreements and prepare abstracts as neededFacilitate closing processes and compile electronic closing bindersMaintain accurate records using internal systems and communicate updates to stakeholdersQualifications:Minimum 5+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal within a law firm environmentBachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate requiredHands-on experience with real estate transactions, including leases, title review, and UCC filingsStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of accuracy and strong organizational abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with document management systems (e.g., iManage) and Adobe is a plusProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStable work history preferredAdditional Details:Direct Hire RoleStart date: ASAPHybrid schedule with approximately 10 in-office days per monthNon-exempt role with overtime eligibilityAnnual billable expectation around 1,400 hoursPerks:Flexible hybrid work environmentOpportunity for long-term placement and career advancementExposure to high-level commercial real estate transactionsSupportive and team-oriented workplace cultureAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
