{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"5e96e044ae2749feccff84a3","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5e96e044ae2749feccff84a3","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5e96e044ae2749feccff84a3","title":"Network Security Analyst","description":"Job Summary  Our client is seeking a Network Security Analyst to join their team in Spring, Texas!   Core Responsibilities Provide consulting and, where necessary, approval for the following areas: External Network Connections, and Internal Network ConnectionsStewards and maintains relationships with owners of network connections to ensure controls and risks are appropriately understood and mitigatedDefine and support policies to enforce required security and best practices for external network connections and network control pointsResponsible for approval of deviations to accepted required/best practices, including but not limited to new external connectionsProvide consulting and stewardship for the Enterprise Firewalls Port Opening Request (POR) processRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 3+ years of hands-on experience in network securityExperience in network security technology including Fortinet/Cisco Firewall and IPSec VPN technologyUnderstanding of network security domain and TCP/IP environmentKnowledge of various aspects and components of information security such as firewall technology, network authentication technology, encryption methods/standards, VPN, intrusion detection, perimeter securityDeep knowledge of TCP/IP, Internet technologies, IPS/IDS, firewall virtualization, VPNs, NAT, DNS, etc.Relevant certifications (preferred but not required): Cisco (CCNA/CCNP Security), Fortinet (FCA/FCSS/NSE), CISSP, GIACExperience in network automation such as Ansible/Python/REST API/etc will be STRONG advantageExperience with AWS and Azure network security servicesKey Competencies & Behaviors Network security firewall policy managementAutomation (full stack developer capabilities)Cloud (AWS & Azure connectivity)Work Environment Location: Spring, TXOn site Monday through Friday Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $60.00 and $69.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
