The Sprinter Driver/Owner Operator will be responsible for safely operating a sprinter van or similar vehicle, picking up and delivering freight on scheduled routes and on-demand runs. Daily tasks include loading and unloading cargo, performing basic vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate delivery records, and using GPS or routing tools to plan efficient routes. The role also involves communicating professionally with dispatch and customers, handling delivery documentation, and ensuring freight is delivered safely, securely, and on time. The driver/owner operator is expected to keep their vehicle clean, well-maintained, and compliant with all safety and company guidelines.Qualifications Strong driving capabilities, including Truck Driving experience and safe operation of a Truck or sprinter van.Valid CDL Class A or other appropriate driver’s license as required for assigned routes and freight.Effective Communication skills to coordinate with dispatch, follow instructions, and report delivery status.Customer Service abilities to interact professionally with clients at pick-up and delivery locations.Clean driving record, adherence to safety regulations, and familiarity with local and regional routes around Chicago, IL.Ability to lift and move packages, manage basic vehicle inspections, and maintain logs or delivery documentation accurately.Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Previous experience as a driver or owner operator in logistics, courier, or freight delivery is preferred.
