This individual will champion security-first IT operations, protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), maintain compliance with applicable federal and industry standards, and empower teams through efficient, resilient, and purpose-built technology solutions.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nServe as the primary internal point of contact for all IT matters, coordinating day-to-day needs, escalations, and project work with SelectTech’s managed service provider.\nDrive IT initiatives by optimizing workflows, accelerating technology implementations, and improving system responsiveness across the organization.\nSupport and maintain clear IT policies, configuration standards, disaster recovery procedures, and user-facing training materials.\nIdentify software and applications to solve business specific problems.\nDeliver and operationalize generative AI / LLM use cases (e.g., enterprise search, summarization, agent workflows, document Q&A) to support business objectives.\nDesign and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures leveraging vector databases to support scalable AI solutions.\nLead IT project planning, resource allocation, and vendor coordination to ensure timely and efficient delivery.\nOversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely and compliance account provisioning in Microsoft 365 GCC High, company networks, and associated systems.\nMaintain system access controls and conduct periodic audits to ensure users and systems Operate with Confidence through proper security alignment.\nAssist with the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of laptops, workstations, and associated hardware to ensure employees receive purpose-built tools aligned with their role.\nMaintain accurate hardware/software inventory to reduce downtime, optimize lifecycle management, and support Design with Purpose technology planning.\nDevelop, document, and optimize troubleshooting procedures that contribute to predictable and reliable IT service delivery.\nAssist with overseeing the company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure, WiFi systems, VPNs, and remote access tools, ensuring consistent performance and secure connectivity across all locations.\nAssist with the implementation of infrastructure improvements, focusing on reliability, scalability, and long-term stability.\nSupport cabling projects, network documentation, and vendor coordination.\nAssist with efforts to maintain a secure computing environment through robust cybersecurity practices, ensuring the organization can Operate with Confidence in all digital operations.\nAssist with CMMC control implementation, system monitoring, vulnerability mitigation, and audit-readiness.\nAssist with documentation supporting streamlined operations and efficient troubleshooting.\nOversee the reliable setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of office peripherals—including printers, scanners, and conference room AV systems—ensuring employees can collaborate and communicate seamlessly.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.\n4–7+ years of progressive IT experience, including hands-on technical troubleshooting.\nCertifications: CompTIA A+, Security+, Azure AB-900, and Microsoft 365 Fundamentals MC-900 are desirable\nExperience supporting CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, or similar defense-industry cybersecurity frameworks is required\nHands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 GCC High environments\nHands-on experience with at least one major AI platform and orchestration frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangChain).\nExperience with LAN/WAN systems, VPNs, firewalls, Wi-Fi architecture, and network security fundamentals is a plus\nStrong proficiency in Office 365 administration, MFA/2MFA solutions, Windows environments, and endpoint management.\nExcellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.\nStrong verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset and the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.\nStrong written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nFamiliarity with network security principles and best practices.\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain at least a DoD Secret security clearance.\nWhy Join SelectTech?\nAt SelectTech, you’ll work alongside a team that values innovation, precision, and purpose.
