Senior Oracle Financial System Analyst

Bill Watts at Robert Half is partnering with a leading marketing firm who has seen substantial growth over the past 5 years so with that growth has created a new direct hire position with their team! We are seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to support and enhance our Oracle financial systems environment, with a primary focus on Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Planning, and/or Oracle EPM applications. This role will serve as a key liaison between Finance, Accounting, and IT, driving system optimization, automation, and reporting improvements to support financial consolidation, planning, and enterprise reporting processes.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, support, and enhance Oracle EPM applications, including HFM, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and related modulesPartner with Finance and Accounting teams to support financial close, consolidation, forecasting, and budgeting processesMaintain and improve financial reporting structures, metadata, hierarchies, and business rulesLead system upgrades, implementations, and enhancements within the Oracle Hyperion/EPM environmentDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis tools for financial and operational reportingTroubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutionsManage data integrations between ERP systems and Oracle EPM applicationsSupport user access, security configuration, and governance controls across financial systemsIdentify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and data accuracyProvide training and ongoing support to finance users on system functionality and reporting toolsCollaborate with external consultants and internal IT teams on system architecture and performance optimizationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field3+ years of experience supporting financial systems, with a strong focus on Oracle Hyperion or EPM toolsHands-on experience with HFM, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and/or Oracle EPM CloudStrong understanding of financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processesExperience with data integration tools (FDMEE, Data Management, or similar)Proficiency in advanced Excel; familiarity with reporting and BI tools is a plusKnowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) and financial data flowsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with finance and IT stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience with Oracle EPM Cloud (FCCS, EPBCS, ARCS, etc.)Background supporting multi-entity, global financial environments
