A health services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking a new Orthopedic Surgeon to provide critical orthopedic care at a leading medical facility.About the Opportunity:Assignment Length: Until December 2026Schedule: Flexible, 5-7 days per monthHours: 24-hour on-callSetting: Hospital, not a trauma centerResponsibilities:Providing 24-hour unrestricted orthopedic on-call coveragePerforming 2-3 orthopedic procedures per shift, including hip fracture casesConducting Emergency Department consults, such as hand injuriesManaging daily consult volume of 8-10 patientsCoordinating post-discharge carePerforming other duties, as neededQualifications:Active New Jersey license or ability to obtainBoard Certified Orthopedic SurgeonStrong decision-making skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work collaborativelyAdaptability in a dynamic environmentDesired Qualifications:Advanced Medical DegreeCertification in Orthopedic Trauma CareExperience with Orthopedic Trauma and ED consultsProficiency in Surgical techniquesProficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
