We always want to do more, and that's where you come in!\nGA-Intelligence is looking for a Software Engineer to join our federal team to develop scalable, high-performant cloud-based computer vision systems focused on the automated detection of objects in satellite imagery. State of the art Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are used in AI/ML pipelines to process large volumes of satellite imagery. Object detections from the platform are used by the community to search for objects, maintain object custody, and in Multi-INT analytics.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nUnder general supervision, develop, integrate, and maintain cloud-based image processing pipelines and infrastructure that process satellite imagery at scale in a cloud environment\nDevelop test scripts and frameworks to verify and validate functionality\nMaintain existing capabilities deployed to customer facilities and cloud environments including debugging and updating to keep pace with the evolving environment and technology\nUnderstand customer, user, and operational requirements and implement new functionality into software products\nDocument and communicate highly technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective manner\nCommunicate with management, customers, developers, and users\nWork directly with internal and external developers to transition applications into the computer vision platform\nMaintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information\nObserve all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company\nWork in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices\nPerform other duties as assigned\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\n\nJob Qualifications\nTypically requires a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline and two or more years progressive software development experience with a bachelors degree.
