For more information, visit www.cooklist.com\nJob Description:\nAs a senior web scraping engineer you will have the opportunity to make foundational decisions around our system architecture, schema and the API’s that power our experience.\nThe key responsibilities include:\nWorking closely with the founders, project managers and designers on product roadmaps and product direction to help solve business problems\nMaking critical decisions about our technical direction and architecture as we build and scale our product to tens of millions of users\nTake ownership over the entire lifecycle of software design, implementation, testing, deploying and maintenance\nWork in an agile, remote-first, startup environment\nHelp to create our engineering culture and processes as we grow our engineering team\nWe're looking for exceptional engineers, and as such we’re offering competitive base salaries and generous early-hire equity.\nRequirements:\n5+ years of experience as a software engineer\n3+ years of experience working with Web scraping\nWrite clean, maintainable code and implement end to end testing\nStrong intuition for performant robust architectures and a track record of efficient implementation.\nExperience an individual contributor capable of taking ownership to design and build sophisticated systems quickly while working in a fast-paced environment\nNice to Have:\nExperience with following: Django, React, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, AWS, Celery, Docker\nExperience integrating with many third party API’s that change often\nComfortable going full stack with a Javascript frontend\nWhy Cooklist?\nCooklist is a fun, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment that empowers everyone to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
