We offer a luxury glamping experience on 300 acres in a stunning natural environment. As a groundskeeper, you will provide a variety of landscaping and maintenance duties that will help us create the magical surroundings our guests have grown to appreciate.\r\nJob Summary:\r\nAs a Groundskeeper, you will report to our Groundskeeping Manager. You will work together to:\r\nEmpty trash, shovel, and perform maintenance or repair duties using saws, blowers, mowers, drills or other hand tools.\r\nEnsure lawns are manicured appropriately. Regularly treat weeds for weed control, weed whip, rake leaves, plant flowers/ shrubs, spread mulch/ woodchips / stones, trim shrubs and hedges, cut and remove tree limbs damaged by adverse weather conditions, and perform other lawn care services as necessary.\r\nInspect irrigation system regularly to ensure it is working properly; repair as needed.\r\nPick-up trash and debris from common areas and streets on a daily basis. Empty common area trash containers as needed.\r\nReport all resort maintenance issues and concerns identified while performing daily duties to manager.\r\nEnsure resort is presentable at all times and adheres to El Capitan Canyon Resort's standards.\r\nSafely operate vehicles for the purpose of performing job duties.\r\nFollow safety procedures while performing duties.\r\nOther duties and special projects as assigned.\r\nRequirements:\r\nHigh School Education.\r\nPrevious groundskeeping experience in the resort/hospitality industry.\r\nDemonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general grounds maintenance techniques.\r\nAbility to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work.\r\nValid driver's license.\r\nProficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery.\r\nAbility to provide legible written reports.\r\nAbility to work well independently as well as on a team.\r\nAbility to lift at least 25 pounds.\r\nFlexible schedule.\r\nBenefits:\r\nPaid Family Leave\r\nHealth Insurance\r\nDental Insurance\r\nVision Insurance\r\nVacation, Sick and Holiday Pay\r\nCompany Basic Life Insurance\r\nCompany paid Accidental Death & Dismemberment\r\nCompany paid Short Term Disability\r\nCompany paid long term Disability\r\n401k Retirement Plan\r\nEOE.
