Altera Digital health provides managed services to Springhill Medical Center’s facilities and is located on the hospital’s main site in Mobile, AL.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAs an Associate Computer Operator, you will be responsible for:\nMonitoring computer systems, networks, and applications to ensure continuous operation and identify potential issues.\nExecuting scheduled batch jobs, data backups, and system processes accurately and on time.\nResponding to system alerts, error messages, and operational incidents, performing initial troubleshooting, and escalating complex issues to appropriate teams.\nMaintaining detailed operational logs and documentation of system activities, incidents, and resolutions.\nAdhering strictly to operational procedures, security protocols, and data integrity standards.\nCollaborating effectively with other IT teams and internal stakeholders to support system maintenance and problem resolution.\nParticipating in on-call rotations and providing after-hours support during peak times, including end-of-month/quarter/year, as required to meet business needs.\nDemonstrating a commitment to quality by following relevant procedures and paying attention to detail in all tasks.\nCommunicating clearly and concisely with team members and clients regarding system status and operational updates.\n\nRole Requirement\n\nTotal Years of Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience.\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).\nMandatory Skills:\nBasic understanding of IT operations and computer systems.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to follow established procedures and protocols.\nEffective communication skills (verbal and written).\nProblem-solving aptitude and ability to perform initial troubleshooting.\nAbility to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.\nFlexibility to work irregular hours, including shifts, overtime, and weekends, and participate in on-call rotations.\nGood to Have/Preferred Skills:\nExperience with system monitoring tools.\nFamiliarity with data backup and recovery processes.\nBasic knowledge of network concepts.\nProficiency in documenting operational procedures.\n\nHourly rate: $20.01\nThe salary range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position at the time of posting.
