Our Program Data Manager plays a vital role in making this happen—ensuring that our program data systems are accurate, accessible, and meaningful so our team can learn, improve, and make an even bigger difference.\n\nLocation: Chicago’s Austin neighborhood (Hybrid Schedule Available)\n\nSchedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week\n\nStarting Salary: $60,000 - $65,000\n\nWhat a Day Might Look Like\n\nKick off your morning by checking if our Goal App (ClickUp) has pending Administrative Tasks\n\nRun a report in our Bonterra case management software for the Development Team\n\nMeet with new staff to see how they are grasping the use of our data systems after having completed some self-paced training, and provide focused support\n\nBatch upload data from our case management software to an external government data system\n\nAnswer Slack messages on our data channel and troubleshoot any data issues with staff\n\nComplete data quality review from program teams before running monthly outcome reports\n\nMeet with your supervisor to discuss the implementation of some new reports\n\nWrap up by posting a Data Tip of the Week for staff\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMaintain and enhance the case management system’s functionality, architecture, and integrations\n\nConduct regular data audits, troubleshoot quality issues, and customize workflows and forms\n\nManage and update program dashboards, impact reports, and data for funders\n\nProvide training, coaching, and easy-to-follow documentation for staff\n\nSupport monthly data review meetings with program teams\n\nRecommend and implement improvements to data collection methods and tools\n\nEnsure timely, accurate submission of all programmatic reports\n\nCollaborate across departments to translate data needs into technical solutions\n\nYou’ll Thrive In This Role If You Are\n\nA natural trainer who likes to help others learn about data\n\nDon’t mind being interrupted to help troubleshoot data issues\n\nDetail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once\n\nLove all things Excel and think it's great fun to learn new formulas and tricks\n\nA problem solver who can’t wait to figure out how we can integrate data systems\n\nExperienced (3–5 years) in customizing and administering case management systems\n\nPassionate about data and how it can improve programming and tell the story of the families we serve\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience\n\n3+ years of experience managing data systems in a professional setting\n\nProven ability to customize and administer case management systems\n\nStrong skills in Excel (data formatting, analysis, and visualization)\n\nExperience in translating organizational data needs into practical technical solutions\n\nExcellent communication skills, especially for explaining technical concepts in plain language\n\nFamiliarity with database management, report writing, and batch uploads between platforms\n\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven\n\nCommitment to New Moms’ mission and values\n\nOther Requirements\n\nAccess to reliable transportation or ability to navigate public transit between sites\n\nWork Environment\nWork environment may vary.
