This position is responsible for processing Release of Information (ROI), specifically medical record requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and individual metrics are met. Verifying and analyzing data to affect the efficient and effective retrieval of charts in accordance with the core business function of Ciox Health. Associates must always safeguard and protect the patient's right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the patient's medical information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, company policy and HIPAA regulations.\nYou will:\n\nEnter accurate data when assigned by team lead\n\nRemote processing of electronic medical records through various EMR systems as directed\n\nAbility to work with minimum supervision responding to changing priorities and role needs\n\nReport any technical difficulties that you may experience as soon as they occur.\n\nMeet required metrics for your role - CPH (Charts Per Hour) & Attendance.\n\nActively participate in all training that is assigned to you by your supervisor\n\nMaintain high standards of Confidentiality to safeguard and protect Patient's Right and comply with all company and facilities policies and HIPPAA regulations\n\nRead all documentation and follow written instructions provided to ensure compliance and accurate job completion.\n\nImmediately report to team lead/coordinator/supervisor or management any security breaches, unsafe behavior witnessed or any site difficulties.\n\nSupport a service environment that focuses on quality processes\n\nEnsure that deadlines are met and respond to emails and other requests for information timely\n\nAdhere to company policies\n\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nWhat you will bring to the table:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\n\nSix months plus Data Entry Experience\n\nEMR experience A+ Experience in a healthcare environment or release of information setting is strongly preferred.\n\nDemonstrate ability to address problems constructively to find acceptable solutions\n\nDemonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.\n\nComputer skills including Windows based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook)\n\nExcellent organizational skills\n\nExcellent detail-orientation and accuracy with high volume environment\n\nAdaptable to changing business environment\n\nDemonstrated ability to work within a diverse group of individuals and collaboratively in a matrixed, cross-departmental remote environment\n\nTo ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc. Any requests to be exempted from these requirements will be reviewed by Ciox Human Resources and determined on a case-by-case basis.
