You'll monitor loading and unloading areas, enforce safety rules, and ensure every guest enjoys a secure and exciting experience.\r\nA SLIDE ATTENDANT'S DAY-TO-DAY\r\nMonitor attraction loading and unloading areas and prevent injuries by proactively communicating with Guests and eliminating hazards.\r\nEnforce all safety and departmental rules while maintaining a polite and professional demeanor.\r\nEducate Guests on safety protocols and ensure all posted warning signs are adhered to.\r\nConduct safe and effective rescues in accordance with training and lifeguard certification protocols.\r\nMaintain test-ready skills to respond to emergencies at all times.\r\nParticipate in all required in-service training to maintain slide attendant certification.\r\nBe knowledgeable in completing live audits correctly.\r\nReport any safety concerns or incidents to the Lifeguard Supervisor immediately.\r\nEnsure all equipment is in good working order before use.\r\nKeep hip packs filled and prepared for emergency situations.\r\nUtilize and understand whistle signals for effective communication with team members.\r\nWork collaboratively with fellow team members to maintain a safe and enjoyable Guest experience.\r\nRemain alert and engaged throughout shifts to ensure a high level of safety awareness.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned to support park operations.\r\nWHAT IT TAKES\r\nMinimum 18 years of age.\r\nMust pass Ellis and Associates Dispatch training (provided by the company).\r\nMust pass CPR/First Aid certification.\r\nAbility to maintain focus and vigilance in a fast-paced environment.\r\nHigh school diploma, equivalent, or currently enrolled in high school.\r\nPERKS (MORE REASONS YOU'LL LOVE YOUR JOB)\r\nFree bowling & attractions (laser tag, billiards, mini golf, ropes courses, and rides)\r\n$1 arcade play\r\nAll-day play at Boomers, FECs & Waterparks\r\nFriends & family discounts\r\nFood & beverage discounts\r\nSpecial discounts on parties and group events\r\nPerks start on your first day\r\nWORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS\r\nTypical entertainment and waterpark environment where you'll walk, bend, and stand for extended periods, and may lift objects with some assistance.
