This role includes chemical analysis, tank maintenance, filtration monitoring, and adherence to safety and environmental standards to support efficient production operations.\r\nEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain plating tanks, weirs, solution levels, air agitation, and filtration systems\r\nPerform chemical additions and maintain proper formulation of plating solutions\r\nConduct temperature checks and pH testing according to established procedures\r\nMonitor, clean, and replace filtration and regeneration systems per maintenance schedules\r\nOversee recovery systems and perform cleaning or maintenance as required\r\nInterpret and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions\r\nMaintain a clean and safe work area around chemical storage, filtration, regeneration, and recovery equipment\r\nFollow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)\r\nComplete required daily checklists and documentation\r\nAssist other plating technicians as needed\r\nPerform additional duties as assigned\r\nRequired Competencies, Skills & ExperienceAbility to work overtime, sometimes on short notice\r\nStrong ability to read and fill in checklists, correspondence, and procedure documentation\r\nCommitment to following all safety regulations and PPE requirements\r\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds\r\nExcellent attendance and reliability\r\nAbility to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment\r\nPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of hazardous material handling and chemical solution maintenance\r\nBasic understanding of chemistry principles\r\nExperience with plating on plastics or metals preferred, but willing to train the right candidate\r\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\r\nWork Environment & Physical DemandsWork in an industrial plating environment with exposure to chemicals and mechanical equipment\r\nStand and move throughout the shift\r\nLift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds\r\nWork around chemical tanks, filtration systems, and recovery equipment while following safety protocols\r\nEqual Opportunity EmployerMPC Plating is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
