Role Description The Prepress Technician role at Reynolds DeWalt is a full-time, on-site position located in New Bedford, MA. This role involves ensuring that all files are prepped and processed accurately for various production methods and print technologies. Responsibilities include reviewing job specifications, performing pre-flight inspections, troubleshooting file issues, and preparing print-ready materials. Attention to detail and efficiency in a deadline-driven environment are key aspects of this role. Qualifications Knowledge of prepress software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite and other design and layout applicationsUnderstanding of printing processes, color management, and file preparation for digital and offset printingStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve file issues effectivelyAbility to collaborate with other departments and maintain clear communication in a team-oriented environmentExcellent time-management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects concurrentlyPrevious experience in a prepress or similar role in the printing or related industryHigh school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts, Printing Technology, or a related field is a plusFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles or similar workflow management systems is a bonus
