Physical Therapist

Pride Health is seeking a Physical Therapist – Acute Care to join our team in Hattiesburg, MS 39401. This is a 3 months contract with potential for extension. Job Responsibilities:The Physical Therapist must utilize a growth and development knowledge base in the care of children (pediatric), adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed. Responsible for the implementation of the physician's order for physical therapy services.Should provide all necessary aspects of physical therapy within an interdisciplinary environment in order to facilitate the return of the patient to as independent and safe lifestyle as possible.
