This role oversees a wide range of responsibilities, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, policy compliance, and employee engagement. The HR Manager partners closely with operational leaders and cross-functional departments to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with employment regulations, and support organizational growth across field and office teams.\n#LI-KD1 #LI-Onsite\nResponsibilities:\nServe as a trusted advisor to business leaders on human resources matters, including performance management, coaching, compensation, and policy interpretation.\nOversee and manage employee relations issues, investigations, and corrective actions in a timely, objective, and legally compliant manner.\nSupport recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning in partnership with Talent Acquisition and operational managers.\nEnsure consistent application of HR policies and procedures, and update documentation as needed in alignment with federal, state, and local labor laws.\nLead HR processes including annual performance reviews, compensation changes, employee development plans, and succession planning efforts.\nFacilitate training programs and compliance initiatives related to safety, harassment prevention, and leadership development.\nPartner with Payroll and Benefits teams to address employee questions, leave of absence requests, and personnel transactions.\nMonitor HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, headcount) to identify trends and develop solutions.\nPromote a culture of inclusivity, professional growth, and operational excellence across both technical and administrative teams.\nMaintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.\nSupport internal and external audits by providing required documentation and insights.\nContribute to special projects or company initiatives related to integration, policy standardization, or system implementation.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.\n7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or HR business partner role.\nSolid understanding of federal and state employment laws, wage and hour compliance, and HR best practices.\nProficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration tools.\nExcellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.\nProven ability to build partnerships, manage sensitive issues with discretion, and influence organizational outcomes.\nExperience supporting field-based or technical teams within engineering, environmental services, or construction-related industries is a plus.\nValid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.\nAbility to travel to regional office and field locations as needed (up to 15%).\nTravel Requirements:\nThis position does not require regular travel as part of its primary responsibilities. However, occasional travel may be required, up to 10%, primarily for occasional off-site meetings, training sessions, or company events.
