ResponsibilitiesDefine and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for transaction banking capabilities across payments, cash management, trade finance, and securities services.Partner with business, operations, product, and technology stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable architecture solutions.Develop target-state architectures, capability models, application landscapes, integration blueprints, and transition roadmaps.Lead architecture decisions for modernization initiatives such as platform consolidation, cloud adoption, API enablement, workflow digitization, and data architecture improvements.Ensure architecture supports key business priorities including client experience, straight-through processing, resilience, compliance, scalability, and cost efficiency.Provide domain guidance across payment rails, liquidity and cash management services, trade lifecycle processes, and securities servicing functions.Establish architecture standards, design principles, governance processes, and solution review mechanisms.Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to ensure implementation alignment with enterprise standards and target-state architecture.Assess legacy environments and define pragmatic migration paths to modern, modular, and interoperable platforms.Support risk, security, regulatory, and operational resilience requirements relevant to transaction banking ecosystems.QualificationsBachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in architecture, solution design, or technology leadership within banking or financial services.Experience in transaction banking architecture including: Payments, Cash Management, Trade Services, and Securities Services.Proven experience designing enterprise-scale architecture across applications, data, integration, and technology domains.Strong understanding of banking architecture patterns, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration.Experience with core banking / transaction banking platforms, payment hubs, trade finance systems, securities processing platforms, and related ecosystem vendors.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Preferred QualificationsStrong knowledge of data architecture, reference data, transaction lifecycle data flows, and reporting architecture.Familiarity with regulatory and control considerations impacting transaction banking, including resilience, auditability, data governance, and security.Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional architecture governance.Benefits and CompensationThe wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
