ServiceNow and CMDB Admin- ITAM (HAM/SAM)Plano, TX & McLean, VAKeywords : HAM Pro, SAM Pro, CSDM, Asset Lifecycle Management, Asset Discovery Service Mapping● Expertise in implementation/support of integration with ServiceNow CMDB/Asset Management● Collaborate with IT, procurement, finance, and security teams to improve HAM,SAM activities withbroader IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) initiatives.● SAM Pro Specific Skills○ Configure and maintain the ServiceNow SAM Pro module, including software models,discovery models, entitlements, and license metrics.○ Execute regular reconciliation processes comparing discovered software installationswith purchased licenses (entitlements) to determine the effective license position (ELP).○ Experience with scripting (JavaScript) and integrations (e.g., SCCM, Discovery)● HAM Pro Specific Skills○ Develop and implement strategies and automate processes for hardware acquisition,receipt, deployment, maintenance, and secure disposal, ensuring compliance with ITAD(IT Asset Disposal) standards.○ Ensure HAM data integrity within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB),leveraging ServiceNow Discovery and other integrations to populate CI dataautomatically.● Experience of developing and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and othersystems using APIs, web services, and middleware● Experience building integration with procurement systems - Coupa and Zip● Experience on Integration technologies such as Web Services, SOAP, HTTP, MID Server.
